Solar Water Heater
The Winpower flat-type solar water heater works by allowing sunlight to pass through a transparent glazing layer and strike the absorber plate beneath it. This absorber plate heats up, converting the solar energy into heat energy.
The heat generated is then transferred to water flowing through pipes that are connected to the absorber plate. To enhance efficiency, absorber plates are often coated with "selective coatings" that are specifically designed to absorb and retain heat more effectively than regular black paint.
These plates are usually made from metals such as copper or aluminum due to their excellent thermal conductivity.
Although copper is more costly, it provides superior heat conduction and is less susceptible to corrosion compared to aluminum, making it a more durable and efficient choice for absorber plates.
Additionally, the use of these high-quality materials and coatings ensures long-lasting performance and reliability. This technology not only maximizes energy efficiency but also reduces the overall environmental impact by utilizing renewable solar energy.
